From these permanent educational, consultative and support structures for the young people, all those participating in vocational training benefited. In addition to the trainees with additional forms of mental impairment, the beneficiaries included, in particular, the training centres, vocational colleges, businesses, integration assistance services and other interested parties such as the chambers and self-help associations.
INDIVERSO provided a contribution towards raising positive awareness on the part of work providers. Disabled people are often considered to produce less performance and to be less able to work under pressure. The young people with forms of mental impairment learnt to participate in working life and to assert themselves in a sustained way. Through the training module “Facilities to Accompany Training”, the participants are supported in their personal development. They extended their personal and social competencies and learnt to withstand the normal demands of everyday life. This led to the full use of the available resources of each individual person.
